The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on Monday that a cooperation agreement with NEVEX Institute Kft. could speed up the authorization process for new plant protection products.

According to the Nébih, the experts from NEVEX Institute can contribute to the rapid and professional evaluation of plant protection products, thereby facilitating the introduction of new products. The expansion of the range is in the interest of both distributors and producers, as it provides access to modern and effective protection solutions.

The joint work of Nébih and NEVEX can provide a response to plant protection challenges in the midst of rapidly changing and increasingly stringent EU regulations, as stated in the announcement. The cooperation between the state licensing authority and the accredited partner organization is made possible by the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the Public and Private Sectors.
